Assessing
"Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing it is stupid." - Albert Einstein
There are three phases of teaching: planning, implementation, and assessment.
During assessment, phase 3, you will be evaluating your road map and learning journey, the first two steps of the teaching process (planning and implementation). Your focus will be on how/if the educational goals were achieved.
This process will include answering questions such as
-
Did your students learn what you intended them to learn?
-
Were the instructional methods appropriate and effective?
-
Were the assessment methods appropriate and effective?
-
Could another route of instruction or assessment yield better results?

Raesup Educational Consulting provides tips through our “Teaching Simply” subscription to assist you in answering these and other vital questions. Through effective teaching practices, the aim is enriching the learning journey and maximizing student growth.
